A Sweet Treasure in the Heart of Vanier

In teams, students travel through the Richelieu forest in search of the hidden treasure. During their journey, they will have to overcome a few obstacles. By finding the caches, students will become familiar with the work of a maple syrup producer in addition to discovering the biodiversity of the sugar bush. They will also learn to use a GPS device.

develop problem-solving skills

use modern methods of navigation and cartography

demonstrate creativity by applying learning to new concepts
