FULL: Makers at the Museum

Learn the basics of hand quilting and create your own colorful patchwork coaster (approximately 4”- 4.5” square) under the guidance of a textile artist from the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum. This workshop will focus on beginner-friendly hand quilting techniques (e.g., basic stitches, how to connect squares, how to add backing and batting, etc.) but all skill levels are welcome. These skills will help provide a foundation to inspire future projects at home. Supplies for this project are included in the cost of registration. Light refreshments will be served.
Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 25 from 1 pm to 5 pm
Ages 16 and up.
Cost: $60 per person (taxes included). Advance registration is required.
