Explore memories of childhood and celebrate community connections at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum. Older adults along with their friends and families are invited to spend a day at the museum enjoying a variety of heritage demonstrations and arts and culture programming. Engage all your senses and step back in time as stories, photographs, music, artefacts and more evoke daily life in a rural village. Pack a picnic and enjoy our wonderful greenspaces. Take a leisurely stroll through the exhibitions and heritage buildings, check out the vintage vehicles at Watson Garage and visit with the farm animals. Take in a performance or activity led by the wonderfully talented artists from MASC and chat with our heritage demonstrators about the skills, trades, and equipment needed to keep a village running before modern technologies became the norm.
Arts and culture programming is presented in partnership with MASC (
