Orienteering Ottawa Field Day

Cost: $8.42 per person
This is a drop-in style program; advance registration is not required.

Learn a new sport or test your skills in a fun, family-friendly environment with Orienteering Ottawa. Navigate the varied landscape of Pinhey’s Point Historic Site and enjoy striking views of the Ottawa River with just your map, compass, and wits to guide you. Newcomers are welcome; Orienteering Ottawa members will be on site to help get you started on one of six short, fast, and fun courses! Give all the courses a try for an added challenge!  Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Lawn games will also be available to play including Kubb and Bocce.

Notes:

  • The primary language of delivery for this event is English.
  • This event will take place rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress according to conditions, including proper footwear for grass, dirt, and gravel terrain.
  • Wooded areas and tall grasses can be habitats for ticks. For more information on preventing tick bites, please visit Ottawa Public Health.
