Learn a new sport or test your skills in fun, family-friendly environment with Orienteering Ottawa (https://ottawaoc.ca/)! Choose the timed challenge that’s right for you—from beginner length courses to competitive, hour-long races— and navigate 80-plus acres of varied landscape with just your map, compass, and wits while enjoying striking views of the Ottawa River at Pinhey’s Point Historic Site. Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome. When you’ve finished your course, step inside the nearly 200-year-old manor house to learn more about early settler life at Horaceville through the eyes of the Pinhey family (museum hours: 10 am to 5 pm).
Saturday, May 27 from 10 am to 2 pm (recommended final arrival time: 1 pm).
Cost: $7.40 per person.
This is a drop-in style program; registration is not required.
