History Explorers

Hosted by: Bytown Museum

History Explorers is a scavenger hunt that allows students to have some fun while learning about Ottawa’s, and Canada’s, history. To complete this interactive and investigative program, students will use their provided maps and look for the answers to questions about Ottawa’s rich history scattered throughout the museum.

Virtual – Using the History Explorers map, and the Bytown Museum’s virtual tour, students can find the answers to questions by exploring the over 200 years of history the museum has to offer. This activity can be downloaded and assigned to students individually or teachers can book a Virtual Tour with a Bytown Museum staff member who will take the students through the museum to find the answers together.

This program is available in English & French in-person and English only for virtual.
