Once Upon a Time … Pioneer Life

Hosted by: Vanier Museopark

Once upon a time, a class of young pioneers decided to travel to New France. They are given a goody bag to help them overcome many challenges. Students will explore themes related to the pioneer journey such as distance and time using everyday tools such as calendars and maps. They will also have the opportunity to explore different facets of pioneer life once they arrive in New France, all in the form of a story in which they are the main actors.
